KEY TECHNOLOGY

FEATURES

NeoFlex OPAL Eco-Friendly Gloves belong to our NeoFlex range of Net Zero Emission safety gloves, the first Net Zero gloves in Australia.

Providing the highest-level of abrasion resistance available (EN388 Level 4) along with excellent tear resistance (EN388 Level 3) and cut resistance (Level A), these gloves are made from a thin, fine 15 gauge nylon spandex seamless liner for coolness, comfort and increased flexibility. Coupled with a Water Vapor Transmission (WVT) technology, they are tested for how effectively they allow water vapor including sweat to pass through the liner. High WVT performance reduces heat, sweat and moisture build-up, making the gloves particularly beneficial for use in warm or high-humidity environments.

A Next Gen Nitrile sandy finish on the palms and fingers increases wet and dry grip, and the glove has been produced to match the pH level of human skin for reduced skin irritation, enabling them to be used for longer periods of time. Rated to EN407 standards for contact with heat, the NeoFlex OPAL Eco-Friendly Gloves will make sure you and your crew are well-protected.

Perfect for use in construction, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, fabrication, assembly, inspection, maintenance, logistics, warehousing, for DIY and gardening projects, and for general purpose usage as well. They are Oeko-Tex certified safe to use against your skin, and Actifresh treased to protect against bacterial growth and odours. No solvents are used in the manufacture of this glove. Even better, they are touch-screen friendly and can be used with tablets, mobile phones and touch-screen PCs.

For retailers, the NeoFlex OPAL Eco-Friendly Gloves are laundered and individually packed with a header card and GS1 barcode, making them easy to hang directly onto a glove stand and sell immediately. Available in packs of 12 pairs or cartons of 72, from size extra-small all the way up to double extra-large.

How do we achieve Net Zero?

Using the Life-Cycle Analysis approach during the manufacturing of the NeoFlex Net Zero Emission range of safety gloves, all activities from raw material extraction to goods leaving the gate were assessed to derive the total carbon footprint of producing this range of gloves. The emissions absorbed by the trees in our reforestation project is then quantified, validated and verified through ISO 14064-2. These verified emission removal units are called “carbon insets”. These carbon inset units are then set off against the emissions released during glove production, effectively negating the impact on the atmosphere.

These gloves are then certified Carbon-Inset, which means emissions are negated within the value chain of business operations – as opposed to the normal practice of paying another company to offset emissions. As a result of the progressive changes a company has to make in order to obtain carbon insets, Carbon Insetting has a greater impact on combating climate change and a more direct positive impact on all stakeholders of a business, since it profoundly influences the working value chain of a business than the more traditional Carbon Offsetting.
