CRG Food Grade Gloves are made from a 13 gauge high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) shell, resulting in a fine, thin fabric that retains flexibility while providing Level 4 tear resistance and Level 3 puncture resistance, as well as superb, high-strength Level D cut resistance. These gloves are antimicrobial treated for food grade applications, suitable for contact with all categories of food stuffs according to EEC directive 85/572/EEC:1989, including food handling, packing and processing, meat packing and processing, and fish packing and processing.
The thin, fine fabric used in the construction of these gloves means that they are also optimised for use in exacting situations, such as trimming plastic extrusions, and the cut resistance means they can be used in applications where mechanical threats are present, for instance handling cutting blades. The multiple uses makes this gloves an excellent general purpose option as well as being well-suited to specific applications.
